If you've driven a vehicle equipped with a continuously variable transmission, you may have noticed a certain lag between when you hit the accelerator and the vehicle actually picks up speed. It's something we've come to expect from CVTs, but it's apparently gotten so bad in certain Mitsubishis that the Japanese automaker is recalling over 80,000 vehicles to address the issue.
